TDI /SDI Nitrox Classes
Nitrox is one of those courses that everyone should take for several reasons. Safety is a key concern in diving and anything that can be done to increase safety should be…at once. What nitrox does is increase the amount of oxygen you breathe, which decreases the amount of nitrogen you breathe; this, in turn, decreases the nitrogen uptake into your body, provided you dive nitrox according to air computers or table guidelines, of course. Each year we get a little older and our bodies do not process things as they used to, and the way our muscles and tissues process nitrogen are no exception to that rule. Nitrox continues to be the “fountain of youth” for many divers.
Equipment Specialist
There are many things that you as a diver can do to maintain your
equipment and the SDI Equipment Specialty course is just the place to
learn how to do that maintenance. This course covers BCs’, regulators,
wetsuits, dry suits and many more of the equipment items used while
diving.
Nitrox Gas Blender
In the TDI Gas Blender Course, you will receive a foundation of skills and knowledge that is needed to blend enriched air nitrox for recreational divers. After covering academic subjects including
•Responsibilities of the gas blender
•Oxygen handling
•Gas production equipment and oxygen analyzing
You will demonstrate proficiency in blending enriched air nitrox and the proper labeling of nitrox cylinders.

The 35 dollar tune up consists of a two hour lecture type session. At Timber Bay Scuba with our Multi Agency, Multi Level five stars six diamonds and eight piece nugget Instructor Trainer Scuba Bill! Bring your course materials along with your C-Card and review chapters, test your knowledge and do some hands on with an Instructor. You can follow the approved outline or focus on what you would like to refresh. If you need hands on we have an entire dive center at your disposal! Remember good divers are always learning!
The 50 dollar: in addition to the lecture / hands on session we will venture to the pool! There you can dial in your skills, work on equipment assemble, fine tune your buoyancy or review basic scuba skills. All under the watchful eye of our, super, multi agency, gold ribbon, Instructor trainer Scuba Bill! JAs you can see the goal of these sessions is to have fun! Get off the couch and grab your mask!
The 99 dollar:in addition to the riveting lecture / hands on session and the expedition / quest for the grail like pool session you can rent all the gear you need! If we have it you can include it in this session! Want to try our Ikelite housing, the Lights and Motion video camera. Scuba Bills magical doubles! Try em, many divers have never tried a back plate and wings, or sadly to say an Atomic M1 regulator L Were opening the rental room and its time to dive!
These are refresher courses, students will not reciev a c-card for participation.

CANCELLATION POLICY
To keep class size small we require all class fees paid at the time you register for the class. Payment guarantees your spot in the class. Your class fees are non-refundable within (14) fourteen days of the class start day. If you require a transfer of class dates, you may do so up to (7) seven business days prior to class start date for a $50.00 transfer fee. All course fees are forfeited if you do not attend your class. Additional fees are required for extra or make up training.
